100% Raw Honey

The taste and color of honey vary based on the seasons and the flowers bees collect nectar from. Pollen will also differ in color. We guarantee each batch of our honey is authentic and one of a kind. You can thank the bees!

Each jar of our local, delicious, raw honey is made by our bees, harvested, bottled, and hand-labeled here at our family-owned apiary. We offer a variety of honey jars to complement your love for honey.

We offer various jars, including Sample Jars, the Perfect Gift Jar, the I Love Honey Jar, and our specialty Collector’s Jar.

We inspect each frame of honey to ensure it is 90-100% capped. Those frames are hand-selected for harvest.

Our honey bee colonies are cared for on-site. Doesn’t it feel good to know exactly where your honey comes from?

Honey is a food source for the bees. We only harvest from our honey supers - the boxes above the brood nest where the bees store extra honey. All boxes are carefully inspected before our last harvest to ensure the bees have enough resources for Winter.

Fully capped frames are removed from the honey supers and taken to our harvest location on-site. Once the honey is extracted, the frames are put back into the hive for the bees.

Frames of honey are uncapped by hand using a decapping tool. Then, they go into the honey extractor. The extractor spins the honey out, allowing it to drain down to the bottom of the drum. From that point, we open the nozzle, and out it pours.

Honey harvest days are a lot of work, but they are some of our favorite days of the year! Family, friends, neighbors, and customers join us to watch the process and celebrate in excitement with us.

Our honey is only strained to remove unwanted particles, such as debris, wax chunks, and dead bee parts. This leaves the honey in its most natural state for you to enjoy.

We use every resource from our hives. We do not let the bees’ hard work go to waste. The leftover wax is rendered down by hand and used in our soap, lip balm, and lotion bar products for uniqueness and added health properties. This is just another way for you to relish the honeybee.

Children are always learning. So why not make it a little sweeter for them?

We spend many summer days filling jars, and we don’t mind. Nature is fascinating. This experience is real and incredible.

Customers on our VIP Honey Waitlist are the first to be contacted when honey is available. We do our best to keep up with the high demand, but please be aware our honey sells out quickly.

Bees are wild insects, but sometimes they can feel like pets. As we learn more year after year, our love for beekeeping grows deeper.

Honeybees can only make honey during a nectar flow. Therefore, we harvest honey during the Spring and Summer months. Because we are a small, family-owned apiary, our honey inventory is seasonal.

Customers who purchased our specialty Collector’s Jar are invited to refill their jars directly from our honey bucket each harvest at a discounted rate.

The bees are happy to clean up and repair any honey frames that get punctured during inspections.
