Honey Cookies

These cookies are sweetened with all natural, raw honey instead of sugar!

HP’s Bees Raw Honey is the secret ingredient in this recipe! We highly recommend our Late Summer Honey for this recipe due to its deep, vivid flavor.

Honey Cookies (without added sugars)

•2 1/2 cups flour

•2 tsp baking soda

•2 tsp cinnamon

•1 tsp nutmeg

•1/4 tsp salt

•3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

•1/2 cup Raw Honey

•1 tsp vanilla extract

•1 egg

•Extra honey to drizzle over baked cookies

In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Using a mixer, beat butter, honey, and egg in a separate bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix well until dough is formed. Cover the bowl and chill in refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll dough into 2” balls. Use a fork to lightly press so that the top is a slightly flattened. Bake for 10 minutes. Drizzle with honey. Enjoy!
